Grafty is an AI app builder for companies, headquartered in Austin, Texas. Teams build together in one shared Builder Chat and comment on a live preview. Customers bring their own model keys and choose their infrastructure, with access controls and budgets per user, project and team. They pay their model provider directly, with no Grafty markup on model usage.
The role
Own how Grafty helps people build tools that do useful work beyond a first demo. Focus on recurring workflows such as preparing for a customer call, reviewing a pipeline, running a scheduled report, or recommending the next action. Work closely with users to make these apps reliable and easy to understand.
Location and working arrangement
This is a fully remote role within the United States. You can work from your location in the U.S.; working from our Austin office is not required.
What you'll own
- Identify repeated workflows where an app can save time or improve a decision.
- Own product behavior for scheduled work, recommendations, approvals, and human review.
- Define how users see what ran, what is next, and when an action needs attention.
- Partner with engineering to address failure cases, permissions, and recovery.
- Measure workflow completion, repeat use, and the quality of recommendations.
Experience you bring
- 8+ years in product management or business workflow leadership with direct delivery responsibility.
- Experience choosing between building a workflow internally and buying automation software.
- Ownership of a software or operational budget and the outcomes it funded.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted workflows, including checking quality and handling errors.
Your first 90 days
- Validate a recurring workflow and define its success and failure cases.
- Deliver a working improvement that users can run repeatedly and trust.
Compensation and benefits
Annual base salary: $300,000–$350,000 USD, plus equity and a 401(k). Equity is additional to base pay. The final offer reflects relevant experience and the responsibilities of the role.
